Natural gas futures fell during the US session
Natural gas futures fell during the US session on Wednesday.
According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, natural gas futures contracts were traded in August at USD1.677 per million British thermal units at the time of writing, down 0.83%.
It was pre-traded at a session low USD1.665 per million British thermal units. Natural gas may find support points at USD1.611 and resistance at USD1.715.
The dollar index contracts, which measure the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.52% to trade at USD97.112.
Meanwhile, on the NYMEX, the price of crude oil for August decreased by 5.65% to trade at USD38.09 per barrel, while the price of heating oil for July fell by 4.27% to trade at USD1.1516 per gallon.
