The US Federal Reserve announces the extension of its lending facilities until the end of the year

The US Federal Reserve announced today, Tuesday, its decision to extend lending facilities until the end of next December, which was scheduled to end on September 30.

The US Federal Reserve said in a press statement today that extending the facilities for a period of three months will facilitate the planning process by the participants, and will ensure that the facilities remain available to help the economy recover from the emerging epidemic of the Corona virus.

This, and the bank has indicated in its statement that the US Federal Reserve's lending facilities provided strong support to the markets, and helped to improve the markets' work significantly, as well as boosting the flow of credit to families, companies, state and local governments.

This decision did not affect the movements of the US dollar index, as the index, which measures the performance of the dollar against about 6 major currencies, reached 93.70 levels until the last hour, an increase of about 0.05%.
